About Barry Saffer

As President of The Lawrence Group, Inc., Barry Saffer provides quality, personalized assistance to clients in need of professional and financial advisory services. Saffer attended the University of Maryland as an undergraduate, studying Business Administration and Logistics. He received an Alcoa Foundation Transportation Scholarship and induction into the Golden Key International Honour Society during his time at the university. After graduating cum laude, Barry Saffer enrolled at American University, earning a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. He later passed Maryland’s Certified Public Accountant exam. After completing his studies, Saffer worked at a private technology manager, a professional services company, and a public software developer. In these roles, he managed budgets, handled global finances, developed business models, maintained strategic alliances, and served as an accountant.

In his free time, Barry Saffer enjoys motorcycling, golfing, playing guitar, and reading. In his philanthropic endeavors, Saffer contributes to the Washington State University Cougars Football Network, Christ House, the Maryland School for Jewish Education, and the Quince Orchard High School (QOHS) Lacrosse Program. He also serves as the QOHS Boosters Club’s Committee Chair for Advertising and the Spring Fundraiser.
